Il est à la fois réalisateur, chef opérateur, animateur et VJ. Actuellement installé à Paris, Defasten se concentre sur l’animation numérique, tout en traçant des parallèles entre information, espace et paysages urbains, avec un intérêt prononcé pour la fragmentation. Son documentaire OPENLAND se verra remixé en direct sur la musique de son collaborateur Andrew Coleman.
Les performances seront suivies d’une table ronde dans le cadre de la “Live cinema night”.

He is at once director, cameraman, animator and VJ. Based in Paris but constantly traveling throughout the world, the work of Defasten concentrates on animation that traces parallels between information, spaces and urban landscapes with a pronounced interest in fragmentation. His documentary OPENLAND will be remixed to the music of his sound collaborator Andrew Coleman.
The performances will be followed by a round table as part of the “Live cinema night”.
